A healthy gut biome is a balanced one. The delicately balanced ecosystem can be damaged if there aren’t enough good bacteria to out-number the bad. That’s why adding daily probiotics- those healthy bacteria to the bowl is so important.

Ingredients
Probiotics
Beneficial bacteria that help balance the gut microbiome to support gut health. They’re quantified by the number of colony-forming units (CFUs), a term that describes the probiotic’s ability to reproduce. The higher the CFU, the better the effect of the probiotic on the body.

Prebiotics
Feed probiotics. They’re long-chained sugars that encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. It’s important to have a high-level CFU probiotic that accompanies prebiotics.

Digestive Enzymes
Break down large molecules into smaller, more usable pieces. Basically, they help your dog digest and use his food. Microflora Plus contains digestive enzymes that are specifically geared towards a carnivore’s needs, including elevated levels of amylase and cellulase.

Herbs
Soothe stomach troubles naturally, without interfering with the digestive enzymes & probiotic already at work. Licorice, cinnamon, and ginger are all gut-soothing herbs that can be found in Microflora Plus.
